Blatta lateralis are one of the smallest non-climbing roaches kept in captivity, getting to just over 2cm when adult. They make up for they're inability to climb smooth surfaces with they're speed, they are very quick, and fast moving roaches.
Despite they're common name "Turkistan Roach" these roaches are found in many tropical regions of the world, including the southern US, Africa and Asia.
They breed very quickly in captivity, and will take many different foods offered to them.
