Slugs arent as commonly seen for sale as Snails, Stickinsects or Cockroaches, but are just as interesting to keep.
Most species are nocturnal, and are fairly easy to care for, requiring similar conditions to African Land Snails, will eat a range of fruit and vegetables, and breed readilly if kept in the right conditions, though care must be taken with humidity, as they are far more prone to drying out than Snails.
Some species are more specialised, will only accept certain foods, and may eat or attack otherwise suitable cagemates, more on this in the various species pages.
